About us

We built P.A.V.E. ADHD Coaching to develop the tools and support that we wish we'd had growing up.

P.A.V.E. ADHD Coaching is a small executive function coaching practice serving teens and young adults ages 13 and up. Many of our students have an ADHD diagnosis; all of them are bright, capable, and a little tired of feeling like they should just "try harder."

We partner closely with families and — with permission — with pediatricians, teachers, and school teams to make sure the strategies we build during coaching actually show up in real life.

Why P.A.V.E.?

Our name is a roadmap.

Every letter in P.A.V.E. stands for a step we teach students to use again and again — so goals feel clearer, confidence grows, and progress lasts.

P.

Plan

Breaking big, intimidating goals into small, bite-sized steps.

Why it matters: Big goals stop feeling scary when there is a clear first step to take.

A.

Anchor

Using physical, visual, or routine cues to stay grounded and focused.

Why it matters: The right cue turns a vague intention into a reliable action.

V.

Value

Reframe ADHD traits as strengths to build upon.

Why it matters: Self-doubt fades when students see ADHD as a different wiring, not a defect.

E.

Excel

Mastering personalized systems to reach full potential.

Why it matters: Systems that fit their brain let students show what they are truly capable of.

What we believe

Three values that shape every session.

Strengths first

We start every relationship by finding what a student already does well — and build systems from there.

Evidence-informed

Our approach draws from executive function research (Peg Dawson, Russ Barkley) and years of hands-on coaching.

Judgment-free zone

Late assignments, missed goals, hard weeks — they're all normal. Coaching is a place to reset, not a place to be graded.
